Rob Perry is the person in the room who notices how you are feeling and isn’t afraid to ask you about it. His mission is to help believers live and counsel the word of God.

Rob began his work life as a Software Developer at IBM. The Lord called him into full-time ministry through his personal experience with Biblical Counseling, when he saw firsthand that most local churches aren’t equipped to help.

During his 20 years in ministry at Devoted City Church, Rob has served in various roles, but is most passionate about Biblical Counseling. He is wholeheartedly invested in equipping the church to care like Christ through community, 1:1 mentoring and counseling groups.

Rob has been married to Kim for 37 years. They have two children, Elizabeth, who is married to Will, and Nick, married to Molly. Rob loves being PopPop to three granddaughters Hazel, Thea, and Millie.

He enjoys coffee, exercise, and lots of food and ice cream.
